Global Schools Forum strengthens education systems by fostering collaboration, community, innovation and partnerships towards systemic change. We empower locally-led solutions, connecting education leaders to share knowledge, scale impact, and influence policy. By building partnerships, strengthening our global community, and driving meaningful change, we work towards a future where every child has access to quality education.

Theory of Change

GSF fosters a global community of non-state education organisations, fostering collaboration, scaling solutions, sharing evidence, and building partnerships to equip them for integration into national systems and improving learning outcomes at scale for underserved children.

Stage 1

Driving change

We strengthen a global education network, build capacity, provide expertise and funding to scale solutions, and engage policymakers to integrate non-state actors. Through collaboration and evidence-sharing, we empower organisations to enhance teaching and improve learning outcomes at scale.

Stage 2

Creating impact

Our community gains knowledge and technical support to drive meaningful education solutions. Scaled innovations improve learning, while non-state providers gain recognition as key contributors to national systems, creating stronger, more inclusive education environments.

Future vision

We envision a world where every child accesses safe quality education. By strengthening systems, fostering government partnerships, and shaping policy, we drive collaboration between public and non-state sectors, ensuring sustainable, inclusive education reform that improves learning outcomes at scale.

Impact at Scale Labs - Foundational Literacy and Numeracy (FLN) seeks to transform education systems by working with promising innovators. The Lab aims to do this by carefully selecting locally-led organisations who have promising visions for scaling their FLN programmes in low-middle income contexts.

GSF is a fantastic organisation; it brings together so many different approaches and innovative ideas on how to deliver education at low cost in diverse contexts. There's basically no other organization in the world that does that. This is why we've decided to support the Impact at Scale Lapse as the first funder: we believe there's a treasure of evidence, approaches, knowledge, and understanding about what works.
