Established in 2013, by Akanksha Foundation, India School Leadership Institute (ISLI) is one of the first projects in India dedicated to developing skills of School Leaders. This Fellowship aims to train school leaders to develop their leadership skills as well as provide them with the knowledge and skills needed to run high-performing schools. We believe that this will lead to greater school level improvements, and ultimately result in higher student learning outcomes.
Through this unique model, Kavita will explain which school leadership domains ISLI focuses on, how they chose them, their coaching strategies and measurements for success.
This webinar will allow plenty of time for questions about the model, and the successes and challenges ISLI has faced in implementing it.

Global Schools Forum organises regular webinars where we engage with interesting people from across the non-state education sector to share their knowledge and lessons learnt with the GSF community.
In this series, we invite our partners to lead webinars on school leadership – how to support it, how to develop it and how to ensure quality. What are the innovative models that people are using to ensure they are investing in their school leaders? How are they able to do this at scale? What are the challenges and successes? And are there opportunities to learn, share and collaborate?
If you have any ideas for future webinars, would like to host one, or would like to provide us with feedback, please contact Keya Lamba, GSF Knowledge Manager, firstname.lastname@example.org
